The event on “CPD System Recapitulation for Nurses and Midwives and Nursing Management for Diabetes Care in Pregnancy & Paediatrics” was held on 25 June 2026 at the University of Nursing (Yangon). Daw Nwe Nwe Khin, President of Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Council (MNMC) delivered the welcome remarks and disused explanation of the CPD System Recapitulation.
In morning section Prof. Daw Hla Hla Aye Joint Secretary of MNMC explained the Roles and Responsibilities of Supervisors and Chief Provider. Dr. Kyawt Kyawt Swe, Central Executive Committee (CEC) Member of MNMC presented Enhancing Professional Practice through CPD activities and DawThanThan Soe, Secretary of MNMC explained How to Systematically Record Various Sources of CPD points in Log Book from. Associate professor Dr Zin Myo Latt Discussed about the Gestational Diabetes and Professor Dr Mya Sandar Thein explained about the Type-I Diabetes. A total of about 600 nurses and midwives attended the Event. The attendees can have a Certificate of Attendance, which provides 4 CPD points upon request to MNMC.
